Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how YapYapGo (“we”, “us”, “our”), a trading name of Toby Dobson Labs Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies on yapyapgo.com.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — and allow certain features to work correctly.
What cookies do we use?
We keep our cookie use to a minimum. We use only the cookies necessary to make the Service work and to understand how it is being used. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Service to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use the app. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (Supabase) | Keeps you logged in during your session | Session / persistent (if “Remember me” is selected) |
| Auth token | Authenticates your account securely | Up to 30 days (with “Remember me”) |
Cookieless analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymised website traffic reporting. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies or personal identifiers that track visitors across websites. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation.
We also collect first-party product activity linked to adult teacher accounts on our server, with records held in Supabase. This helps us operate and improve the service and is not used for advertising. Product analytics sets no additional cookies. An opaque classroom-session identifier is temporarily held in sessionStorage to pair explicit session boundaries. Students only view the shared classroom screen; no student-level tracking is collected.
Third-party cookies
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:
- Stripe — sets cookies to detect fraud and support secure payment processing when you visit billing-related pages. See Stripe’s Cookie Policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or tracking cookies.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the Service.
Instructions for common browsers: - Chrome - Firefox - Safari - Edge
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
