Tools like Blooket, Gimkit, and Kahoot are quiz-game platforms. YapYapGo is built specifically to get students actually speaking and practicing what they have learnt in the classroom. Many schools use both.

How does the per-seat pricing work?
You pick a number of teacher seats and pay one annual bill. The per-seat rate drops as you cross 25, 50, and 100 seats, and when you cross a tier, every seat reprices to the new lower rate automatically. The price you see in the calculator is what you pay.
What does each teacher get?
Every teacher on the plan unlocks all Premium features, Custom Topic, Custom Motion for Debate, Smart Pairing, conflict avoidance, IELTS Speaking, Fun Mode, saved class lists, and the full question library. There is no difference between an individual Premium teacher and a teacher on a school plan, except billing and account management.
How do I invite teachers?
You enter their email addresses in your admin dashboard and we send each one an invite link. They click, sign up (or log in if they already have an account), and they're instantly on Premium, no payment details required from them.
What happens when a teacher leaves the school?
You remove them from your dashboard. Their account is preserved (so they keep their personal class lists and history) but it silently reverts to the Free tier, the same behaviour as an expired individual subscription. No data loss, no awkward conversations.
Can we add seats mid-year?
Yes. Add seats whenever you hire. Stripe prorates the cost for the remaining months of your term. If adding the new seats crosses a tier threshold, every seat reprices to the lower rate, so you may even save money on your existing seats.
What about cancellation?
Cancel from your admin dashboard at any time. The plan remains active until the end of the paid term, after which all teacher accounts revert to Free. No clawback, no fees.
Do you offer invoicing or purchase orders?
Standard purchases are by card via Stripe Checkout, and Stripe issues a paid invoice automatically. For larger institutions that need a formal quote or PO process, get in touch via the contact form and we'll arrange it.
What student data do you store?
As little as possible. There are no student accounts, no app on student devices, no marks or grades stored, and no usage tracking on students. The only student-identifying data we hold is the names teachers enter into class lists for pairing, and we recommend using first names or nicknames only. That keeps you on the safe side of student-privacy regulations by default.
Why not just buy a Blooket or Kahoot school plan?
Those tools are excellent for vocabulary recall, quiz games, and warm-ups. YapYapGo is built specifically for speaking practice, pairing students, displaying graded discussion questions, running IELTS-style cue cards, Debate motions, and Custom Topic prompts.
